THE COIL COATING PROCESS

Coil coating is the application of a uniform film of paint to one or both sides of a moving strip of metal. The film is cured as the metal moves through high temperature ovens and other processes.  The resulting coil of painted metal is shipped off to manufacturers of roll-formed building products such as wall and roof cladding, drain-pipes, gutters etc., or used in stamped products such as small appliances and bakeware.  OCC meets all the requirements of air pollution legislation that controls emissions into the atmosphere.
